HyperDrive GEN2 14 Port ThunderboltT 3 Dock is in excellent condition and comes in the original box with a power adapter and Thunderbolt 3 cable (50cm). This dock was part of my system for the last two years, working relentlessly without significant problems. Necessary: sometimes you might get artefacts on the screen; a simple restart will fix that, and that’s something normal. Used with a MacBook Pro 15 2017 laptop in clamshell mode and a 4K LG monitor, audio system and peripherals. The original adapter wasn’t fully compatible with the MacBook Pro 2017 model. It was causing a minor audio issue where you could hear buzzing at times, so to correct that, this PSU comes into play and solves the audio issue. It is documented on audio forums, and this is a compatibility issue, nothing else. Appendix: All these minor issues mentioned above were from day 1, but nothing significant or game-changing. All these Thunderbolt docks come with a small problem: they aren’t perfect. I tried other brands and had essential issues. Depending on your machine, you may not encounter any problems. This is a solid all-in-one solution for video, audio, network, transfer and storage, guaranteed the best on the market.
